Fiji’s 67-18 win over Namibia at the 1999 World Cup is their record win in the competition; both in terms of points scored and points difference.
Despite losing the game (their first ever RWC match) by a margin of 49 points, the 18 points scored by Namibia remains the most they have ever scored in a World Cup fixture.
Namibia have lost all 11 of their previous World Cup matches, conceding an average of 64 points in the process.
Namibian tighthead prop, Marius Visser, was the heaviest player at the 2007 World Cup, weighing 140kg, this year he has trimmed down to 130kg.
Fiji are 21 points shy of the 500 point milestone in World Cup history.
125 of those 479 points have come from Nicky Little, Fiji’s top scorer in the competition, he has also been involved in more RWC victories than any other Fijian (7).
